One of our favorite Christmas Eve traditions is making reindeer food to spread on the lawn at night for Santas reindeer to see from above! So far it’s worked like a charm! Today we’re snowed in so we’re getting a head start and making some to bring to our little friends!
- 1 cup oats 1/2 cup shredded mini wheats
- Crushed red and green candy sugar crystals
- Multi colored glitter odds and ends in your baking cabinet! The more the merrier!
Mix ingredients together and separate into mini clear baggies. Attach printable poem. Have fun sprinkling your lawn Christmas Eve!

Glitter adds micro-plastics to the environment. Please do not encourage children to litter.
Pretty sure she is referring to baking decorations like sprinkles and such as she referred to “items in your baking cabinet” or edible glitter. Edible glitter is not made of micro-plastics.
