Dark Chocolate Pot de Creme

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Add first 5 ingredients to a high powered blender in order listed. Blend until smooth. 

  2. In a medium saucepan heat coconut milk over medium heat. Heat until almost boiling, do not boil. Remove from burner.

  3. Turn blender to low and slowly add the hot coconut milk. Blend until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is smooth and thick in consistency. You don't want to see any flakes of chocolate.

  4. Pour into individual mini ramekins or 5-7 oz glass jelly jars and refrigerate until firm and set, about two hours.

  5. Sprinkle with salt before serving.

  6. Top with coconut cream or dairy free whipped cream and enjoy!

Recipe Notes

To remove trapped air bubbles, tap jars or ramekins onto the counter several times to bring bubbles to the surface.

Allow pot to sit out on the counter for 5 minutes before serving.
