Clean Key Lime Pie


  • 6 medjool dates pitted
  • 1 cup raw almonds
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil melted
  • 3 large ripe avocados pitted and skin removed
  • 1 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 cup raw local honey
  • 1 frozen banana coins
  • 1-2 tbsp coconut flour
  • 2 cans FULL fat coconut milk CREAM scrape the layer of thick cream on top reserve the milk for smoothies.


  1. Place dates into a food processor and pulse for 3-4 minutes.
  2. Add almonds, coconut flakes, vanilla extract, salt and coconut oil to date mixture and pulse until a crumbly dough forms. 
  3. Press dough into a greased pie plate. Set in freezer.
  4. Rinse bowl of food processor and add avocados, lime juice, honey and banana coins. Blend until smooth.
  5. In a seperate bowl beat coconut cream with an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
  6. Fold cream into avocado mixture and blend until smooth.
  7. Pour avocado mixture into pie crust and freeze for an additional 2-3 hours.
  8. Remove from freezer and garnish with sliced limes.
  9. Slice and enjoy!
